Each tutor group belongs to one of four houses, each of which have their own logo and motto, decided by students:
Students collect House Points for various things in school including good work, completing Ivanhoe Knights tasks, or anything else that staff feel need recognising. As well as forming part of a personal total for each student which can be exchanged for rewards, the totals are also added to the house total.
Our house system promotes student involvement and provides leadership opportunities. Each tutor group elects Form Leaders who represent the views of their tutor group at House Council meetings.
Our Year 9 House Leaders are positive role models throughout the college and provide a valuable link between staff and the student body. House Leaders take on a number of duties throughout the school including encouraging student participation in the Inter-house competitions. They also take a lead in setting out fundraising activities throughout the year.

We also have a number of House Assistants who help the House Leaders with their duties, in particular encouraging involvement in our Inter-House Competitions.
