27th April 2018
I am writing to consult with you about a proposed change to the structure of the college day with effect from the Autumn Term 2018.
At Ivanhoe we are continuously working to provide the best possible educational experiences for our students. The proposal has come about from the strategic review which SLT have been undertaking this year and we believe that a change to a shorter lunchtime has the potential to have a strongly positive impact on the culture of Ivanhoe.
Please see the attached information and FAQs document which explains the proposed new structure and the consultation process.
Next stages of the consultation
We are consulting with staff, parents and students regarding these proposals and we would welcome your views by email to firstname.lastname@example.org (please reference your email ‘CONSULTATION RESPONSE’) by the consultation closing date of Monday 7th May 2018.
Following the completion of the consultation, the final decision will be made by the Full Governing Body later in the term.
If the proposal is approved by the Full Governing Body we expect to implement these proposals for the start of the 2018-19 academic year.
