Throughout years 7 & 8 students will study 7 specialist areas across Art, Design Technology and Food Technology. In Year 9 they will specialise in 4 of these areas in preparation for their GCSE.
Students are taught in mixed ability groups and have the opportunity to use up to date machinery in specialist design workshops. 

Our students have had great success in entering a range of National and Local compettitions including; The Rotary Young Chef of the Year, 3M Eco Tech Challenge and the Ashby Arts Festival.
