Other pages of interest in this section:

  • The Ivanhoe Knights Engagement Award is our version of the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

  • Everyone will begin on the Bronze Award and complete set tasks and challenges to gain their award.

  • It is a great opportunity and is something you can continue with throughout Ivanhoe and then progress to the Duke of Edinburgh award once at Ashby School.

  • For each award tasks are completed in Four Areas: Community, Skills, Expedition and Healthy Lifestyles. As you move through Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards more tasks in each area need completing. As each student completes a task they get that section ‘signed off’ by an adult involved such as a coach, leader, music teacher or member of staff.

  • Once a student has completed their award they can move on to the next one. Students also collect points for their House Team, (Fire, Water, Earth and Air) once they complete each award. This is 5 points for Bronze, 10 for Silver and 15 for Bronze.

  • The award sheets to complete can be found on Page 23/24 in your child’s school planner.
