Congratulations to all the staff and students involved in the Christmas concert on 9th December. A wonderful time was had as we were entertained by a range of songs from festive to modern, and some fabulous dance routines. Once again we were astounded at the outstanding talent shown by our students, who are still so young. Big thanks also to the brilliant lighting and tech team who really helped pull off an amazing show.
We were also pleased to raise over £200 at the festive raffle which will go towards the new lighting rig fund for the hall.
At the end of the performance a special song was performed for one of our teachers, Mrs Storer who is leaving us at Christmas. Mrs Storer is a language teacher and has been helping out at Ivanhoe concerts for the last 10 years, and had always wanted to see Silent Night performed in German at the Christmas concert. Of course our students were happy to oblige and we welcomed back ex student Steph Addison and Languages teacher Mrs Jenny Ordish, another of our language teachers, to perform the German verse.
