As part of the April Enrichment Day, Year 9 students worked with performance poet Richard Grant, Better known as the Dreadlock Alien.
Students looked at hard hitting issues such as the war on terror, teen suicide, mental health and sexual discrimination to produce their own performance poetry on these topics in groups. The students showed real maturity and respect for the topics, as well as working really well in their groups to put on performances for their peers.
We hope you will enjoy these examples of some of the work the students created.
