Holy Trinity Christmas Tree Festival

It was our pleasure to again offer our support in helping set up the Holy Trinity Christmas Tree Festival, an important event on the Ashby festive calendar.

After a briefing by Ken from Holy Trinity, students set about decorating trees for donors who had sponsored them, as well as creating a range of recyclable decorations. Our House Leaders and staff were made to feel particularly welcome by the committee volunteers at the church.

Mrs Blewitt, Executive Head Teacher, who accompanied the students on the trip said, “It was a wonderful example of cross generations working together, and it will certainly be a memorable experience for the students involved. I was also very proud to hear the students praised for their hard work, and also their incredibly smart appearance in the new uniforms.”
