Despite the fact that we had to hold them virtually, we felt it was so important to recognise the hard work of our students across all year groups. All students across the school should feel incredibly proud of everything they have achieved in challenging circumstances.

Students that had been  nominated by 5 or more teachers as an outstanding student were invited to the online event, over 3 evenings.  In each  subject area, staff then made the tough decision of naming one student as their ‘student of the year’. This student embodied an excellent attitude and commitment to the subject.

A huge congratulations to all students who won subject awards. They each received a trophy which was kindly sponsored by BSI and the Rotary Club. Winners were as follows:

In addition to subject awards , and Head of Progress Awards, we have 2 special awards for our Year 9’s.

Ivanhoe Resilience Award     sponsored by BSI

This is a very special award, recognising a student that despite any personal difficulties continues to achieve, work hard, follow the Ivanhoe way, but more than that continues to be a kind, caring individual This year we were proud to give this award to :

Ivanhoe Headteacher Award

The Headteacher’s Award is very unique. Following lots of data crunching, and examining the pathways and outcomes of every year 9 student, in every subject , from year 7 to year 9. This award is given to the student that has made the most progress during their Ivanhoe career. This year that student was:

Josh Cribb

Thank you to all of our Ivanhoe family: staff, students and families for making this year a successful one. It is a pleasure to be able celebrate our students and to share the evening with their families.
