For Safer Internet Day (7th Feb) this year we will have a number of activities for students planned, which include:
• We will be speaking with students in assembly about the theme of S.I.D.
2017 which is sharing of images across the internet and mobile networks.
• Form Groups will be creating an emoji with positive messages to celebrate the day.
• Students will be able to complete a quiz for Interhouse related points.
In addition we are launching a new e-Safety course for Parents, developed specifically for the parents of Ivanhoe by Mr Thornewill, who is a CEOP ambassador. The course will be accessible on the Parent Page in Moodle as well as top menu link on Moodle.
All parents who complete the online course before the end of the Easter Break will be entered into a prize draw to
win a £20 gift card.
We hope that this course will help parents understand more about how to keep your child safe online, as well as help
you talk, with confidence, to your child about e-safety issues.
