We are so proud of our sporting achievements at Ivanhoe, not just the results of our fixtures, but the commitment and effort from our students and staff.
There are some impressive stats from this year:

Over 100 girls attended our ‘Girls Active’ group with 20 regular attenders to the taster sessions in sports ranging from bench ball to judo and kickboxing to Quidditch!
There have been 3 sports development days this year with trips to Leicester Tigers for Rugby, Loughborough Lightening Academy for Netball and Leicester Riders for Basketball.
There have also been a large number of students involved in Sports Leadership opportunities:
5 Silver Sports Ambassadors
26 Level 1 Sports Leaders
22 Miss Motivators
8 Girls Football Activators
So, the Sports Awards Evening was the perfect opportunity to celebrate such amazing achievements over the year, and with over 400 students and family members in attendance the atmosphere was fantastic. Each sports team captain gave a small speech about their achievements and experiences from the year, and it was wonderful to see not only their confidence in presenting to such a large group, but the sportsmanship was second to none.
