Sports Relief 2016

This year at Ivanhoe the PE staff set out to make it a year to remember for Sports Relief 2016.

Students raised an impressive amount for the Sports Relief Charity by paying to come to school wearing house colours.

House

Total

Earth

£169.17

Fire

£147.70

Air

£134.68

Water

£133.14

Total amount

£587.69

In addition students took part in a half hour Fun Run/Walk to see how far they could manage in the time.

Finally, students took part in a World Record Attempt for , 'The most people doing squats at the same time'. The attempt had to be photographed and recorded to send off to Guinness for validation, but we can confirm that 830 people took part in the attempt.

A huge well done to all the staff and students that took part and in particular our PE staff Mr Perkins, Miss Howick and Miss Tickle who worked so hard to organise the day.
