Community Governor

My background is in army nursing and healthcare governance. This has given me good audit and communication skills. I worked part time as a TA in a primary school supporting SEND children and was a governor at that school also.

I know a young adult who has SEND issues, so I have reasonable knowledge about SEND in schools and the support available to them.

For a number of years, I have been involved in Church risk assessments, so I am familiar with the concepts and application involved with Health and Safety.

I believe that every child and every member of staff matters. As I am retired, I would have the time to support the governing body as and when needed.
