Welcome to theIvanhoe Virtual Tour, for prospective new students.
As you can imagine, with the current situation, we cannot physically invite you into the school building for our Open Evening this year. But we are still keen to showcase, for you, all that Ivanhoe has to offer, and extend to you a very warm welcome.
We have put together a selection of videos for you to watch with your child. We hope that these will answer questions you may have about the school as a whole and to give you some short introductions to what our subject departments have to offer.
We would recommend that you start with the introduction from our Headteacher, Mrs Alison Allford.
The deadline to apply for a secondary school place is 31st October 2021. You can apply for your place on the Leicestershire County Council Website by clicking this link -secondary school admissions.
You can see the full Ivanhoe admission details including catchment area map byclicking here.
If you have any further questions about the school, which are not answered by these videos, please take a look at our comprehensive website.

In addition our Year 9 House Leaders work hard to set an example for our younger students, as well as organising interhouse competitions and charity days during the school year.
At Ivanhoe we have a vision for our curriculum:
