Welcome to you, the newest members of the Ivanhoe Community!

You will now have all had a visit, at your primary school, from your new headteacher, Mrs Allford. This was a great opportunity for you to start finding out about life at Ivanhoe and Mrs Allford was very impressed with the questions you all asked. 

Keep a regular eye on this page as approximately weekly we hope to add videos and resources to help support your transition to Ivanhoe. Make sure you complete your weekly activities from the transition booklet too.

Your primary schools have told us that you are a very smart and hard working year group, but did you know we have some guides for you to look at to make sure you're prepared to start your high school lessons, these are called the knowledge organisers. They contain the basic information and vocabulary we would expect the Year 6s to know to be secondary school ready. Check out your knowledge by clicking the picture link.

We know you're looking forward to your Summer holiday. But we know that after a while the weeks can drag a little. But you know what's always interesting...BOOKS! That's why our English department want to set you a challenge this Summer. Bring the completed challenge with you on your first day of school to show to your new English teacher. School Uniforms

Please take time to familiarise yourself with the Ivanhoe Uniform standards on our website: https://www.ivanhoe.co.uk/uniform. We will expect all students returning in Autumn to have full correct uniform, including correct shoes and P.E. kit.

All of our uniform suppliers are offering online ordering, and you can also buy in store at Ashby Schoolwear and Pupil Schoolwear.
Marks and Spencer will be running their annual discount scheme of 20% off uniform from 6th July to 3rd August.
The deadline to order new PE Kit from Lissport is 11th July to be delivered in time for the start of the school year.
There is also a facebook page called 'Ashby de la Zouch Parents Uniform Exchange' where families can buy, sell or gift secondhand uniform.
