Year 9 GCSE & Key Stage 4 Information

It was a pleasure to see so many parents and students at the October GCSE information evening.

This was an opportunity for you to see all of the opportunity Ivanhoe has on offer if you choose to continue your Journey to Excellence with us.   We believe that continuing their 11-16 education in one school will have huge benefits for students; not only academic achievements but also social and well-being benefits. The journey to GCSE is a five year journey from years 7-11, and the key reason for age range change in this area is to avoid the transition which causes a dip in outcomes.

If you were not able to attend the event, please see the below hand outs that were given out on the evening. Students have already had an assembly about our Key Stage 4 offer, and there will be an opportunity to discuss any subject specific questions you may have at the Year 9 Parents Evenings.

Please also familairise yourself with the admissions information. This covers details relating to staying at ivanhoe or moving school.

You do not need to make an application if you intend to stay at Ivanhoe, your place will be kept with us.

Please click here for admissions information. The closing date for admissions is October 31st 2021

If you have any further questions., in the first instance please contact your child's fom tutor.
