Ashby Liaison Concert 2017

Thank you to all the family members who came to support the students at the Ashby Liaison concert. This annual performance is so important as we all feel it helps keep the tradition of music alive in Ashby. As the years go on, the children from the primaries, who sang so beautifully this year, will often progress to be the musicians and singers at Ivanhoe and Ashby School, and even beyond.

This year’s theme was the Carnival of the Animals and we were treated to everything from Disney classics, music from Cats, right through to dinosaurs from Jurassic Park and even the Shrimp Waltz. Well done to all of the young people who took part. It is amazing how it all comes together so well, when they all only have one day to practice as a complete ensemble.

Thank you also to all of the teachers from all of the schools involved; Ivanhoe College, Ashby School, Ashby C of E School, Hilltop Primary School, Willesley Primary School and Woodcote Primary School.
