Are you passionate about making a difference to our children’s education and their school community? We’re looking for parents, family members, and friends to join our team as a Community Governor. We currently have 2 vacancies.
● Supporting the school’s strategic direction and helping it thrive.
● Attending six meetings a year, which are flexible and can be done online or in person.
● Visiting the school and meeting the Headteacher as part of your induction.
● Visiting school at least once a year as part of our programme of Governor visits.
● Undertaking flexible training to support your role.
● Personal Growth: This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and boost your confidence—perfect for your CV too!
● Flexible Commitment: Whether you can help during the school day or in the evening, we’d love to work with you.
● Make a Difference: Your involvement helps shape the future of our school and improves opportunities for all children.
● Share the Workload: The more governors we have, the easier it is to share responsibilities, making the role manageable and rewarding for everyone.
You don’t need to be an expert—just someone who cares about our school community. We welcome your skills, ideas, and energy. If you have any experience in the areas of safeguarding or teaching and learning that would be welcomed.
Please share this opportunity with family and friends who might be interested. For more information and how to apply, contact Jane Moore by email on jmoore@lifemultiacademytrust.org.uk or call in at the School Office.
