School Trips

Other pages of interest in this section:

Taking our students out of the traditional classroom and into the real world has numerous, wonderful advantages that should always be encouraged and thankfully here at Ivanhoe, we have a wealth of staff who are regularly willing to organise and lead such learning adventures.

We offer a wide range of residential opportunities both in the local area and further afield. Current research shows that the number of trips we offer at Ivanhoe exceeds the national average for secondary schools quite considerably. In so doing, we hope we offer something for everyone.

The information given here on the website should hopefully assist you and your child in making decisions about which trip/s they might like to go on and of course, to help with budgetary decisions. If your child is currently eligible for free school meals a proportion of the cost of the trip for board and lodging can be paid for out of the grant.  Please speak to the named members of staff for more details.

Due to the current Corona Virus Pandemic School trips have been postponed. If you had paid for a trip that did not go ahead you will contacted in regards to a refund. We will assess the situation in regards to school trips as we receive further government guidance.
