Archie competes at Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy

We’re thrilled to share that Archie, Year 7, recently competed with some of his Tennis Leicestershire teammates at the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy in Mallorca.

He competed in his age group and the age group above, faced players from around the world, including full-time Rafa Nadal Academy athletes! He played a total of 9 matches, winning many including some very tight matches showing true grit and determination.

There were some very long days, starting at 8am and sometimes finishing later than 9pm, but his enthusiasm and determination never wavered. The support amongst the team was excellent and the highlight of it all was meeting the main man himself….Rafa Nadal!
