DUKE OF EDINBURGH INFORMATION EVENING 2026

Wednesday 7th October from 6-7pm

This session is for students and parents who wish to find out more about the Duke of Edinburgh's Award at Ivanhoe. How it works, how much it costs, what level of commitment is required. Here at school, our volunteer staff offer the Bronze and Silver Awards. The Bronze Award is for Year 9 students. The Silver Award is for Year 10 students who have completed (or almost completed) their Bronze. In rare circumstances, we can allow for 'Direct Entrance' to the Silver Award in Year 10, but this involves a much larger time commitment than if you have your Bronze to begin with.

The session will be led by DofE Managers, Mrs Lane and Miss Gee and they will be accompanied by Andrew Tuckwood from Premier Expeditions, our alternate activity provider. To give us a rough idea of numbers, please could you complete the following super short Microsoft Form:
