We are very proud of one of our year 7 students, Sophia Page, who competed in a piano competition last weekend and came away with two certificates.

Sophia performed three duets in the competition: one piece with her teacher and two pieces with her friend. All of the pieces she performed were from different countries, including Farewell from Zimbabwe.

All of the pieces were performed on stage in front of a large audience.

In addition to this, Sophia is close to getting her 300-day plaque, meaning she has been practising piano for 300 consecutive days.

Sophia has managed to balance all of this pratice alongside transitioning into Year 7, which is a fantastic achievement.
