IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

Walking to & from School via the footpath to new car park area on Nottingham Road

For those students who walk to & from school via the footpath that goes from the new Nottingham Road car park (opposite Ashby School) to the entrance to Ivanhoe School, we are aware this footpath which has been closed over the last few months is due to re-open next week.  

The area nearest to Ivanhoe is a working haulage yard & your safety is very important to us.

If you choose to use this footpath, please walk along the side nearest to Ivanhoe, not in the middle of the driveway - Lorry drivers may not always see you, espescially now it is darker in the evenings.  PLEASE walk on the Left if you are walking up to the new car park, on the right if you are walking down towards Ivanhoe (the side where the silver fencing is).  

If you have a safe alternative route, we ask that you consider using this to prevent any accidents.
