My name is Mrs Allford and I am the Headteacher at Ivanhoe School.
It was great to welcome so many of you to our Open Evening on Thursday 26th September, and introduce you to all our school has to offer.
Young people and their families visited each department and talk with staff, as well as had an informative talk from myself and Leadership team about our school vision and ethos.
We had excellent feedback about our student helpers on the night who were friendly, helpful and informative to our prospective students.
One feedback from the night said, "Really impressed with Ivanhoe. We had assumed (name) would be attending (school name) but the open evening has definitely made us more open minded. We were particularly impressed with the amount of curriculum time given to Art/DT, and we're pleased to hear students aren't automatically expected to do Ebacc subjects at KS4. Your students were all absolutely fantastic and a credit to the school; they were so confident, friendly and helpful. Thank you!"
