Information for Year 7s starting Autumn 2025

Welcome

Welcome to Ivanhoe! We are so pleased that you will be spending the next 5 years of your education here with us. Please watch these short videos from our Headteacher and Head Students.

We know that the move up from primary school to secondary school is a huge change. Some students are confident and can't wait to move up, whilst others may feel more nervous. This is why we have developed a range of activities and experiences to suit all students' needs as part of our 'Mission Transition' Programme. 

To ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible we have some admin tasks for parents and carers. The below forms need completing no later than Friday 21st March to ensure that we can update records and start planning form groups.

Admissions Form  This needs to be completed for all students.

Individual Health Plan If your child has a diagnosed medical condition, please complete this form to give us more information about their needs

If your child has SEND needs please be assured that our Admissions Team will be contacting your child's primary school for further details. You will also be contacted directly about our SEND additional transition activities.

TRANSPORT

Passenger Travel Solutions (part of Roberts Travel Group) will be providing all the school bus transport to Ivanhoe School for the 2025-26 academic year. 

This includes transport for all the students funded by Leicestershire County Council along with those who buy places on the bus services.
